Responsibilities:
Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverablesΒ

Assess risk along with design and communicate audit procedures to engagement teamsΒ
Understand and utilize RSMβs Audit MethodologyΒ
Manage multiple engagement teams and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations for staffΒ
Understand skillsets and capabilities of Senior Associates and Supervisors and monitor and review work product that they prepare and report on performance while articulating coaching notes throughout the processΒ
Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignmentΒ
Maintain contact with clients throughout the year to understand impact of significant developments in clientβs business and assess impact on current year audit engagementsΒ
Develop others within the Firm through facilitating levels based or industry training, advising on career development or participating in other Firm initiativesΒ
Subscribe to and actively read industry publications and share relevant information with clients as considered applicableΒ
Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they ariseΒ
Understand RSMβs lines of businesses, availability of services and where applicable, discuss with client management of opportunities to make valuable introductions to others in the firmΒ
Develop a strategy to utilize relationships external to the firm with different types of Centers of Influence to effectuate business growthΒ
Manage profitability of projectsΒ
Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Senior Managers and PartnersΒ
Identify performance improvement opportunitiesΒ
Ensure professional development through ongoing educationΒ Β
Keep abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firmβs standards and policiesΒ
Willingness to travel 25% of the year, depending on your clientsΒ

Required Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degreeΒ
CPA or CA CertificationΒ Β
5+ years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environmentΒ
Experience leading teams and mentoring associatesΒ
Understanding of audit services with knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and FASB or IFRS regulationsΒ
A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationshipsΒ
Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagementsΒ

At RSM, an employeeβs pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $86,500 - $163,900IndividualsΒ selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
