β’Β Β Β Β Β Manage a personal portfolio of major gift prospects and donors that is comprised of many of the affiliate's most important relationships; works in consultation with the VP,Development, the President &CEO, and key board members and other volunteers leaders to discuss and devise individually tailored major gift strategies.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Actas a senior leader withinthe departmentatthe directionof the VP, Developmentand providessupport in the absence of the VP, Development or as assigned.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Implement initiatives for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, stewarding, soliciting, and recognizing gifts from individuals foundations and corporations.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Assist the VP, Development in setting fundraising goals, creating an affiliate-wide strategic development plan, establishing fundraising systems to support the sustainability and expansion of PPHP's services, and as directed, engaging the Board of Directors.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Assist in securing sponsorship support for special events that contribute to expanding and stewarding the donor base and raising public awareness.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Assist in building and securing foundation and corporate support including preparation of grant proposals and compliance with grant reporting.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Meet fiscal year Development Department's goals.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Support efforts to raise public awareness and political influence in collaboration with the staff of Education and Training and Public Affairs.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Provide expert advice on creation of promotional materials and marketing efforts that raise visibility and support for PPHP.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Primary staff person for events ranging from small house parties to large fundraising events.
β’Β Β Β Β Collaborate directly with VP, Development, President & CEO, Board of Directors, and Directors as appropriate to facilitate soliciting and securing private funds for affiliate-wide projects.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Provide leadership role in assigned affiliate-wide development projects.
Motivate and coordinate efforts of volunteers, especially the work of fundraising leadership volunteersΒ
β’Β Β Β Β Β who are involved in raising funds and public influence.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Analyze monthly financial reports to ensure fundraising goals are on track.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Ensure compliance with rules and regulations governing fundraising by a 501(c)(3)organization.
β’Β Β Β Β Β Contributes to a positive work environment by following through ontasks, taking initiative, working with the team and identifying solutions
β’Β Β Β Β Β Adheres to affiliate policies andprocedures including meetings and training requirements, ensuring punctuality and attendance, and following personnel policies.
