POSITION SUMMARY
The Grant Coordinator at Healthy Klamath/Sky Lakes reports to the Healthy Klamath Director and is responsible for managing multiple grant-funded projects. This role involves leading grant initiatives, securing additional funding, and ensuring the successful implementation of grant-funded efforts in Klamath County. The coordinator will collaborate with a small team to drive community health initiatives, aligning projects with organizational priorities. Key responsibilities include grant project management, project implementation, monitoring budgets, tracking progress, and preparing reports to meet grant requirements. The ideal candidate is passionate about community health, skilled in engaging diverse audiences and community groups, and committed to advancing health promotion and disease prevention through effective project coordination, grant management, and grant acquisition.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Bachelor’s Degree, experience in grant management or project management.
Preferred: Experience in grant writing.

Occasionally lifts 30 pounds or more.Β  Frequent sitting and/or standing throughout the shift required.Β  Frequently required to attend meetings throughout the hospital and offsite.Β  Must be able to work independently.Β 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • The primary role of the grant coordinator is to coordinate multiple grant-funded projects, ensuring alignment with work plans, timely progress toward objectives, and successful project implementation.
  • Collaborate with a small team to align projects with organizational priorities and to advance community health efforts in Klamath County.
  • Monitor and record grant program data, and compile reports that adhere to grant program reporting standards to track progress and outcomes effectively.
  • Actively seek and develop new grant proposals in partnership with the team to support Healthy Klamath and Sky Lakes priorities.
  • Collaborate with Sky Lakes teams and community groups to gather necessary information and data for proposals and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all grant-related regulations and standards.
  • Represent Healthy Klamath at community and stakeholder meetings to drive progress on identified initiatives.
  • Maintain an overall grant calendar and utilize project management tools to track all grant activities and deadlines.
