Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and empathetic Head of Philanthropy to join our team in Køge, Denmark. In this pivotal role, you will lead our organization's philanthropic efforts, developing and implementing strategies that create lasting social impact. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive innovative initiatives that align with our corporate values and global sustainability goals.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive philanthropic strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and values
• Lead and inspire a team of professionals dedicated to philanthropic initiatives
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including nonprofit partners, community leaders, and internal departments
• Oversee the annual philanthropic budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources
• Identify and evaluate potential philanthropic opportunities and partnerships
• Design and implement impact measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of our initiatives
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to showcase our philanthropic efforts
• Stay informed about global social issues and philanthropic trends to guide our strategic direction
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums related to philanthropy
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the philanthropy department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in relevant fields such as Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or Business Administration
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, or related fields
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful philanthropic strategies
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach to planning and execution
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting for large-scale initiatives
• Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• In-depth understanding of global social issues and sustainable development goals
• Knowledge of corporate social responsibility practices and their integration into business strategies
• Experience in fundraising and donor relations is highly desirable
• Proficiency in impact measurement and evaluation methodologies
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for creating positive social change
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Danish or other Scandinavian languages is a plus
