Position Summary:
Adult education serves thousands of adults 17 and older in need of a high school credential, improved English language skills and job upskilling that will lead to meaningful employment, helping to break cycles of poverty and building stronger local communities within Colorado. The Adult Education Program Coordinator supports grantees (school districts, non-profits, community colleges, libraries, etc.) that receive federal Adult Education and Family Literacy Act competitive grant funds to efficiently and effectively utilize resources and align funding to strengthen adult education instructional delivery in local workforce areas across Colorado. The Program Coordinator is part of a team of five Coordinators that are responsible for reviewing policies, data, grantee application packages and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Technical assistance to grantees includes assisting programs to improve outcomes via phone, email and on-site visits. This is a hybrid position; travel may be required approximately once per month.
The final salary is anticipated to fall within the posted salary range, however could be higher or lower depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other qualifications of the preferred candidate while considering internal equity.KeyĀ DutiesĀ and Responsibilities:
