POSITION EXPECTATIONS


Position Expectations Β 
The Donation Ambassador acts as an attendant to all donors while collecting, sorting, and storing donations at their designated location until such time they are picked up and brought to their intended destination.

ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Provides a high level of excellent customer service, promptly greets donors at their vehicles, is courteous and appreciative to all donors, and assists donors by carrying their donations from their vehicle to their assigned trailers.Β Β Β 
  • Ensures the quality and cleanliness of the ADC site.Β 
  • Protects all donations by handling them with the outmost care ensuring their safe storage and sorting them into the proper departments.Β 
  • Ensures Donation Center opens on time, and that it stays open until the official time to close.Β Β 
  • Declines donations from Donors in a diplomatic and professional manner per agency donation guidelines.Β 
  • Completes of donor-count log per day daily.Β 
  • Communicates effectively to management in all matters including problems and/or suspicious activity.Β 
  • Assists in any other projects or tasks as determined by management.Β Β 

Environmental FactorsΒ 

  • Majority of duties will be conducted in assigned Goodwill Attended Donation Centers where no cooling or heating will be available. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust and humidity may be a possibility.

Physical Factors

  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling when dealing with repairs.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Requirements

  • High school/ GED completion. Β 
  • Proven reliability and meeting attendance expectations.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.Β Β 
  • Bilingual a plus.Β Β 
  • Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.Β Β 
  • ExhibitsΒ a high level of adaptability and flexibility.Β Β
