MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience with donors at a not-for-profit organization or a related field, such as sales, orΒ 
client management positions.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in healthcare fundraising preferred.

JOB PURPOSE\:Β 
Responsible for being the primary Foundation Liaison for various Piedmont entities (Hospitals) wherebyΒ 
they act as the local leader for philanthropic engagement of the internal leadership and staff as well asΒ 
the main contact for external audiences in the related communities. This will include identifying,Β 
qualifying and soliciting donors at all levels with the development and management of a portfolio of 100-
125 mid-level prospects and donors. Develop an annual development plan with assistance from theΒ 
Director of Hospital Philanthropy to manage the entity relationship and donors and potential prospectsΒ 
identified with a focus on mid-level. Perform regular qualification calls to identify whether prospects areΒ 
interested in making a gift. Meet with donors and prospects to discuss making a gift. Additionally, engageΒ 
with major gift officer team when/if a donor becomes a major donor and with annual giving program toΒ 
pursue strategies for donor pipeline development within the local community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Act as the primary liaison for philanthropic engagement at the identified various Piedmont entitiesΒ 
(Hospitals).
2. Identify, qualify and solicit donors at all levels in the local community.
3. Develop annual plan for case for support development and hospital leadership/staff engagement withΒ 
Director of Hospital Philanthropy.
4. Develop and manage a portfolio of 100-125 mid-level prospects and donors. Portfolio would beΒ 
managed on a regular basis to continue moving donors through the giving pipeline.
5. Develop an annual plan to identify new donor prospects, including partnership efforts with AnnualΒ 
Giving Program and Major Gifts team, to create a donor pipeline within the local community.
6. Perform regular qualifications call to identify interest from prospects and donors.
7. Meet with donors and prospects in person if a prospect is identified.Β
