We are seeking a driven and results-focused fundraiser to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is based in Northbridge, Perth, with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Reporting to the Strategic Relationships State Team Leader, you will be a valued member of our high-performing and well-established Transformational Gifts teamβa national network of Relationship Managers dedicated to strengthening The Salvation Armyβs funding base in support of its mission.
In this key role, you will utilise your strong networking and relationship-building skills to engage high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), nurture major donor relationships, and drive philanthropic portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Β· Manage a portfolio of major philanthropic donors
Β· Secure major gifts from both existing supporters and new prospects
Β· Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective donors
Β· Build and grow strategic fundraising partnerships
Β· Develop and present compelling funding proposals
Β· Implement tailored donor engagement plans based on individual motivations and giving patterns
Β· Achieve and exceed fundraising revenue targets
About You:
Β· Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations
Β· Proven ability to engage and negotiate with HNWIs and senior stakeholders
Β· Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, best practices, and ethical standards
Β· Exceptional relationship management and donor stewardship skills
Β· Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and achieving fundraising targets
Β· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate the impact of philanthropy
Β· Outstanding influencing and negotiation capabilities
