SBM is looking to hire a Senior Product Designer! The Senior Product Designer is responsible for crafting inviting, delightful experiences that excite users and set new standards for engagement. The role will be hands-on in designing, prototyping, and iterating new ideas, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Responsibilities:
- Explore and innovate—come up with fresh ideas that excite customers and redefine engagement.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate interaction patterns and user flows.
- Push the boundaries of UI and UX by experimenting with new approaches, micro-interactions, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to bring concepts to life quickly.
- Develop lightweight, functional prototypes in React (or similar front-end frameworks) to test ideas.
- Obsess over details—animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that make an experience feel magical.
- Advocate for usability, accessibility, and seamless user flows across the product.
- Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies, integrating cutting-edge interactions into the product.
- Act as the creative spark in the product team, championing new ways to engage and delight users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer
- Science, or a related field is preferred but not required with strong experience.
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, UX engineering, or product design, with a proven track record of delivering innovative, high-quality digital experiences.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing interactive, engaging user experiences with a focus on prototyping, UI design, and motion design.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other front-end technologies for building interactive prototypes.
- Prior experience working in agile environments, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and product teams.
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 per year
