Job Description

Schnucks’ Summer Intern Program is an immersive corporate internship based from our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. Interns gain real-world experience in their designated department, and collaborate on a cross-functional, inter-disciplinary group project to present at the end of the summer. These are paid internships that require full-time attendance 6/2/2025 through 8/8/2025.

TheΒ Summer 2025 Supplier Diversity InternshipΒ supports the growth and inclusion of diverse suppliers within Schnucks' supply chain. This internship involves working on various projects related to supplier diversity initiatives.

This role requires 4 weekdays in Schnucks corporate office, 1 weekday remote, and is located in St Louis, Missouri.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with a project aimed at helping Schnucks customers identify Diverse-Owned products.

  • Utilize online platforms to help Schnucks decision makers match opportunities with Diverse-Owned suppliers and service providers.

  • Support pre-work for the Springboard business accelerator.

  • Assist with the process of gathering Diverse-Owned product information from distributors.

  • Establish a process to communicate local events and opportunities relevant to Schnucks Diverse-Owned supplier partners.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Required Education: Current and Fall 2025 enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship and completed at least 45 credit hours.

  • Available to work full-time Monday through Friday 6/2/2025 – 8/8/2025.

  • Interest in Schnucks advancement post-graduation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Microsoft Office/Google Suite skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with suppliers and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, track progress, provide updates, and meet deadlines.

  • Comfort with learning and using various software and online platforms.

  • Willingness to take on new tasks and find solutions.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work remotely as necessary.

  • Displays values consistent with Schnucks’ COMET culture.

  • A genuine interest in diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Store Support Center Teammates:Β minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
