The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator serves as an important member of the Firmwide DEI team and leads the execution of all administrative functions of the DEI team, coordinating events/programs and providing support for special projects as needed.Β  The Coordinator supports all aspects of the Firm’s DEI efforts and interfaces with constituents, internally and externally, to ensure the success of all such efforts.



Responsibilities
  • Leads logistical planning and execution of DEI focused programs and events, related to professional development and training, affinity network and heritage month events, and recruiting and pipeline programs
  • Coordinates and tracks firm sponsorships of diversity events
  • Assists in the preparation of the diversity budget and tracking of related expenses and invoices
  • Assist the DEI Team with monthly reports on diversity-related firm statisticsΒ 
  • Assists in the implementation and execution of diversity seminars, workshops and trainings for all employees
  • Drafts and updates diversity marketing materials (brochures, website, etc.)
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s DegreeΒ 
  • 3+ years experience working in a professional services environment or law firm preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and with high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks effectively and work well in a high-pressure environment, with a wide range of professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and client service-oriented environmentΒ 
  • Availability to work overtime, as needed

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
