STARZ Intern, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)

Job Description

The STARZ DEI team is seeking an intern for the office in Santa Monica, California.  The position reports to the Chief Diversity Officer and Creative Diversity Executive and will work across the Human Resources Department.

This internship offers the chance to learn about Diversity and Inclusion at STARZ. Our #TakeTheLead initiative is about creating a culture of equity and inclusion.  This guiding principle touches every facet of our business—from programming choices to hiring decisions.

Responsibilities 

• General administrative tasks 
• Assist in preparing DEI reports and presentations 
• Conduct relevant research  
• Draft internal communications  
• Project based work related to DEI initiatives 
• Compile lists of DEI Organizations and events relevant to STARZ 
• Track Candidates for creative pipeline programs 
• Learn to analyze basic creative content  
• Assist in the coordination of meetings for multiple Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) 
• Support in-office events 
• Collaborate and strategize with team on STARZ #TakeTheLead initiatives 
• Attend external diversity organization meetings and events when applicable 
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation Data
The pay rate for this internship is $20/hr.

Important Dates
The STARZ Summer 2025 Internship program dates are: June 9, 2025 – August 15, 2025

All interns are required to attend orientation on Monday, June 9, 2025.
 

Details

• Internship will be a hybrid schedule with Monday-Thursday onsite and Fridays work remote
• Regular business hours are 9 AM – 6 PM Monday-Thursday and Friday 9 AM – 1 PM
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively or recently enrolled (within 6 months of internship start date) in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate degree during the length of the program
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
